Tarbiyah Academy is looking for an Art Studio Assistant with an energetic and enthusiastic personality who loves the arts, loves working with children, and loves to bring a positive attitude to the classroom every day! Art classes at Tarbiyah Academy are extremely engaging, colorful and educational, always focused on the child’s inquiry and discovery process. Art Studio Assistants will assist the art teacher in tasks around the classroom involving material prep and clean up before and after class, providing individual assistance and encouragement to students throughout class, and occasional opportunities to instruct. Applicants must be 18+ years old, must exhibit a professional and respectful demeanor, and be available for at least 3 days a week during school hours, 7:40am – 3:05pm. A personal interest and experience with arts and crafts is a must, and prior teaching experience in any setting is preferred. Applicants should also be comfortable working in a fast-paced and energetic environment, and speaking in front of a crowd of approximately 20 children.
