As an educator she is committed to improving the educational and life outcome for all students. She believes that as educators our most important job is to foster curiosity and create interested scholars. It is her goal to instill a love of learning mathematics and an appreciation for its various applications in your scholar this year. She also intends on instilling a sense of empowerment and agency in your scholar; as they explore cultures, historical event and make connections to how they impact our present as well as our future. She identifies most with the Thinker aspect of the learner profile because it encourages seeing beyond the problem and looking towards the solution.  When asked about why she chose Tarbiyah Academy she said “I really like that Tarbiyah focuses on providing tools for students to pave their future without sacrificing their faith and identity”.
When she’s not teaching, you can find Ms. Ogunsanya resting, writing poetry, performing poetry, baking, or painting calligraphy.
