Jannah Sanchez

My name is Jannah Sanchez and have been teaching at Tarbiyah Academy for 6 years. I am the KG and First Grade Arabic, Quran, and Islamic Studies teacher. I am a students at Bowie state University completing a degree in Elementary Education. I am fluent in classical Arabic as well as colloquial Arabic. I studied Arabic and Quran in Egypt for 6 years. When studying, I attended the famous Al-Ibaanah and Al-Azhar institutions. I choose to continue teaching at Tarbiyah Academy because it fosters an inclusive and Islamic environment that benefits the students as well as the teachers. Risk Taker is the learner profile that I identify with most simply because life is too short to not try new and exciting things!
