Fatima Khan

I am so thrilled to be working as the Tarbiyah Academy Counselor for the second year now! I received my B.S. in Psychology & Human Development from the University of Maryland, College Park and my M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Johns Hopkins University. I’ve worked with children & adolescents in different settings including as a psychotherapist at outpatient mental health clinics and private practice, as a teacher, and as a mentor. I enjoy making art in my free time and incorporate creativity and mindfulness into my counseling practice. My approach to counseling is holistic and strengths-based, and I am excited to work with the school community on student wellness and social and emotional development. Some fun facts about me are that I love to travel, paint, and spend time in nature.
