Debby Rashed

I grew up and was born in Maryland and I have been teaching for over 12 years. I have a BA. Elementary Education (Science Major) and AA In Early Childhood Education. I am working on my master’s in curriculum and development.

I taught from grades 1-8 in all subjects. My hobbies are traveling, skiing, and writing Fiction stories. I am a caring person who always wants to help everyone in need.

I understand the importance of using instructional strategies that appropriately address the student’s different learning styles and needs, which makes me love my teaching at Tarbiyah Academy. It is extremely important to understand every student’s dominant learning style. This is done to plan instruction that draws upon every child’s strength to improve academic development.

As a teacher, I aim to instill a passion for learning in my students in an encouraging and positive environment. Through the development of a relationship that is honest, open, and respectful, students will know that I am happy to accept them the way they are.
