New Leadership Structure
As part of the Board’s long-term strategic vision, we have implemented an enhanced leadership structure designed to provide both strong day-to-day leadership and comprehensive strategic oversight for the continued growth and development of Tarbiyah Academy. This structure builds upon the strong leadership of our current Head of School, Hagar Aboubakr.
Chief Executive Officer – Rasha El-Haggan
We are thrilled to welcome back our founding Head of School, Rasha El-Haggan, who will serve as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Tarbiyah Academy. In this role, Rasha will lead and oversee the school’s overall strategic direction, financial health, long-term sustainability, academic excellence, and community engagement. This includes working closely with school leadership on key areas such as program development, faculty growth, budgeting, and institutional planning. She will serve as the primary link between the Board and school operations to ensure alignment and strength across all domains.

Head of School – Hagar Aboubakr
Hagar Aboubakr will continue to serve as Head of School, leading the daily academic programs, faculty, and student life. The Board is deeply grateful for Hagar’s steadfast leadership and the meaningful impact she has had on the growth and success of Tarbiyah Academy. In this next chapter, Hagar will work in close partnership with Rasha to ensure that our educational mission is fully realized in the classroom while remaining aligned with the Academy’s long-term strategic vision.

Together, this leadership model enables us to maintain strong academic programming while also positioning the school for thoughtful growth, operational strength, and long-term sustainability.
Facility Expansion
As previously announced, we are also excited to move forward with our facility expansion, including new Kindergarten and First Grade classrooms. These additional spaces will allow us to reduce class sizes, create more dedicated learning environments and better serve our growing student body.
