MYP Student Government Association

In International Baccalaureate (IB) schools, the Student Government Association (SGA) or student council typically plays a role in representing the student body and fostering a sense of community within the school. Student Service Learning Hours (SSL)

Middle school students may participate in volunteer activities, charity drives, and community outreach initiatives to support those in need and contribute positively to society.

  1. Student Service Learning hours, a MDSE requirement, where students are mandated to engage in community service or volunteer work as part of their academic curriculum.
  2. SSL hours aim to encourage students to contribute to their communities, develop empathy, leadership skills, and a sense of civic responsibility.
