  • “ENCHANTED FOREST” SCHOLASTIC BOOK FAIR

    • Description:Tarbiyah Academy will be hosting the Scholastic Book Fair during the week of 10/29/18. According to studies, reading 20 minutes a day exposes your child to about 1.8 million words per year! We encourage everyone to take some time to stop by and shop the book fair with their kids. The proceeds from the book fair allow Tarbiyah Academy to earn Scholastics dollars which will be used to purchase books and other items for our future library. We will also be participating in a program called “All for Books.” This program is an easy and effective way to provide more books for teachers and kids. Throughout book fair week, students will be encouraged to bring in loose change to add to their class coin jars. At the end of the week, the teachers will use the money raised to purchase books for their classroom library. Scholastic will then match the amount raised by TA and use those funds to purchase books for children in need. This year the books purchased through this program will be used to purchase books for recent hurricane victims on our behalf. Your student will be bringing home a flyer next week with additional information.
