Tarbiyah Academy is now not only open for classes, not only certified by the Maryland State Dept of Education, but now officially recognized as an International Baccalaureate Candidate School – IB Primary Years Programme!!
This HUGE announcement was made at yesterday’s Back2School night and reflects the hard work, dedication, perseverance, faith, and quality of the TA leadership under our Head of School, Rasha El-Haggan! The IB World Organization designates only a select subset of schools as IB Candidates once they have proven their infrastructure, school culture, instructional methodology, and community engagement as worthy of this distinction. Schools must show a commitment to the highest standards of international education.
Congratulations to the Board, Mrs El-Haggan, and the incredible teaching team at this one-of-a-kind learning community… May Allah shower all of the students, parents, and supporters of TA with blessings beyond imagination.
